Wiredcats Future with Indian Ridge Middle School
Every week during the FTC season, the Wiredcats visit Indian Ridge Middle School, where they educate kids about robotics and STEM.

STEM Summer Institute @ WHS
Our team partners with other STEM programs at WHS to host a summer camp that provides STEM education to 4th-9th graders.

Motorola - Take Your Child to Work Day
Over the summer, the Wiredcats demonstrate FTC robots and other engineering principles to children. We educated them about FIRST values, STEM opportunities, and what it means to engineer.

Aden Perry 5k
In support and in honor of Aden Perry, who was a fellow Wildcat, the Wiredcats volunteer at the annual Aden Perry Hero Event. Giving back to a supportive community and gracious sponsor, the Wiredcats aspire to bring FIRST values outside the lab.

Stryker Medical
Being the first high school robotics program to experience the informational tour, the Wiredcats had the privilege of taking a trip to the Stryker Medical Robotics Innovation Center. This trip exposed new and existing members of the Wiredcats to engineering and biomedical technologies. In turn, it inspired many to pursue degrees in STEM.

Restaurant Partnerships
The Wiredcats partner up with restaurants around the county to host family nights where a percentage of the profits come back to benefit us.

Car Washes @ Tower Shops
The Wiredcats hold occasional car washes to, not only raise funds for the program, but to give back to the community

MSI Shadow Program
Students in our program are invited to apply for the Motorola Solutions Summer Shadow Internship program, which allows our students to intern and shadow real engineers within their professional workplaces. This experience inspires and reaffirms the engineering career pathway for its attendees, strengthening our program.

Girls Who Code
A Hack-a-thon hosted by Girls Who Code, and in collaboration with the Wiredcats, students of all programming aptitudes competed in groups to create working programs themed around ideas that could help teachers.
